Friday 8th September, from 6:30 onwards, Hinton St George Village Hall

9th South Somerset Cider Sampling – and second Gill Esp Cider Competition

Come along to the village hall to support Hinton’s very own celebration of the West Country’s favourite drink

This is our ninth cider festival – and for the second year in a row we will be having a competition for the Gill Esp Cider Cup (a traditional cider mug made by Lopen’s Les Farris), in memory of Gill who was at the heart of village life for so many years and was a great supporter of the cider festival and local food and drink

Folk band Crooked Furrow are playing, and food, apple juice and Hinton Harvest fruit gins will be available throughout the evening. Entry only £3 including free samples (unchanged since 2009!). All proceeds go to Hinton Village Hall and Church and Cancer Research.

Tickets from: Our Shop, Dorothy’s Tea Room and North Perrot Fruit Farm, or on the door. Contact Matthew Bryant (01460-73454 or bryant.haselbury@gmail.com) for further details.
